Four Commanders were promoted to replace the four Deputy Chiefs who were given $500,000 retirement incentives
The entire top tier leadership of the Columbus Division of Police has now been replaced since Thomas Quinlan was chief. The organizational chart is expected to continue to change at the Commander level as Lieutenants who have passed the commander exam are assigned to fill empty positions.
